The Board of Canal Presidents consists of canal companies with primary storage rights in Utah Lake.  The current President of Board of Canal Presidents is the Director of Salt Lake City Public Utilities who is also the Vice-president of East Jordan Irrigation Company. This organization exercises some degree of control over the level of Utah Lake and in turn the releases from Deer Creek & Jordanelle which water can be released to maintain the level of Utah Lake for higher priority water users.

The Utah Lake Commissioner is Brad Gardner who also used to be the secretary of the East Jordan Irrigation Company.  Brad Gardner does a fine job.

• South Jordan Canal Company
• North Jordan Canal Company
